Mom to two adult children who still allow me to capture and record as much of their lives as possible.  After an unexpected layout off from work, I took an art class. That lead me to creating mixed media canvases which has allowed me another way to use my scrapping supplies. One thing I have always done is make thank you cards whenever I win a prize. I frequently turn to sketches for both my cards and layouts and thank Stick It Down for this wonderful opportunity!

Jean actually made TWO cards for us. They're both so different, which I love! It's awesome to see how everyone interprets our sketches and even more fun when one sketch inspires someone to make two completely different cards!

Here is a little bit about Clara:

Hello everyone! I'm Clara from Santiago, Chile. I am a nice mom of 2 girls and a chihuahua and Hugo's loving wife. I consider myself a rookie in Scrapbook but believe me that I put all my love in each Layout I make. I have only been 3 years in this and it really is a wonderful therapy and I must say that my style is quite eclectic (a bit of this and the other) and my favorites are the Layout. I thank the girls of SID for giving me the opportunity to show my work and I invite you to my blog.

March guest designer... Ashley

Please welcome Ashley back to the SID blog! This time she's our March double page guest designer!

I'm a 43-yo SAHM to two boys, ages 15 and 5.  I've been married to my retired Marine husband for 9 1/2 years; meeting and marrying him was the best thing that ever happened to me!  I've been scrapbooking since my oldest was about three years old, and I got into card making a few years ago.  My husband says I am the keeper of memories for our family, and I truly love this craft!  I very rarely make a layout or card without using a sketch, and I'm always looking to try out new techniques and looking for new inspiration.  I'm dabbling in Project Life-style pages this year along with my traditional layouts, and it's neat to see everything we've done as a family this year!
