February Guest Designer: Barbara

We're pleased to welcome Barbara as our February double page guest designer!

I’m Barbara Greenberg from Kansas City, and I am Scrap-A-Holic for the past 7 years. I call this hobby/habit the best non-paying job ever. I get up in the morning get my cup of coffee and come into my office/scrap room and I’m ready to go for the  full day. I'm in 4 different Yahoo scrapbooking

groups so there are always lots of e-mails to check everyday and see what all my online scrappy friends have been making. Then I go to my blog  www.barbgreenberg.blogspot.com and check out mychallenge blogs page I created and see what new sketches or challenge inspiration might be posted for the day.

I love sketches and that is why I am here today. I was the winner of the December double page sketch challenge at “Stick It Down” and was asked to be a guest designer for the February double page sketch.

This sketch was perfect for me because I love layering and also matting everything that I can on my layouts. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else will do with the sketch. Enjoy.

February guest designer: Ashley W

Ashley W is our card guest designer this month!

I'm a 43-yo SAHM to two boys, ages 15 and 5.  I've been married to my retired Marine husband for 9 1/2 years; meeting and marrying him was the best thing that ever happened to me!  I've been scrapbooking since my oldest was about three years old, and I got into card making a few years ago.  My husband says I am the keeper of memories for our family, and I truly love this craft!  I very rarely make a layout or card without using a sketch, and I'm always looking to try out new techniques and looking for new inspiration.  I'm dabbling in Project Life-style pages this year along with my traditional layouts, and it's neat to see everything we've done as a family this year!

Hi, My name is Cathy and I live in Keelung City of Taiwan with my husband , a 17 years old daughter.  I have always loved playing with handmaking, which has resulted in hobbies like baking, sewing and decorating my house and garden. I started with crafting when my daughter has been interesting with making cards. When I found out about scrapbooking 2 years ago that quickly became my new passion!
