Hi!  I'm very excited to be GDT for this challenge...what an honor. I'm a wife, empty nester to three grown children, and MaMaw to three grandsons that I adore. I live in Florida and love the sunshine. I have a passion for scrapbooking family memories and look forward to any free time to create in my scraproom. My family is very supportive of me. My daughter and son in law actually bought me my first Cricut. My daughter is the one w​ho encouraged me to blog and enter challenges. I was hooked right after I got my first follower and won my first challenge! I would love to have you come and visit me and if you like what you see become a follower!

Ciao a tutti! Il mio nome è Silvana, ma amici e parenti spesso mi chiamano Silvia perchè è più corto e mi piace di più. Vivo nella bellissima città di  Bologna in Italia, sono sposata e ho due “bambine” di 13 e 17 anni. Faccio scrapbooking da 8 anni e grazie a questo hobby ho conosciuto tante simpatiche amiche. Oltre allo scrapbooking mi piacciono tanti altri hobby come il cucito creativo, la pittura cowntry, il FIMO, ma purtroppo il tempo è sempre poco e non riesco a fare tutto quello che la mia testa vorrebbe creare. Ad esempio non riesco a partecipare a tutte le belle sfide proposte da Stick it Down. Sono felice di aver vinto una loro sfida e di essere la guest designer di questa nuova sfida.

Hello everyone! My name is Silvana, but family and friends always call me Silvia because it is shorter and I like it. I live in the beautiful city, Bologna in Italy, I'm married and I have two "girls" of 13 to 17 years. I make scrapbooking from 8 years and with this hobby I have met many nice friends. Further the scrapbooking I like so many other hobbies such as creative sewing, painting country, FIMO, but unfortunately the time is always short and I cannot do everything that my head would create. For example, I can not participate in all the beautiful challenges of Stick it Down. I'm happy to won a them challenge and to be the guest designer for this new challenge.

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. Since our retirement, my husband and I love to travel in our RV. We enjoy our national parks and have visited 42 of our 50 states, including Alaska. My favorite place to visit is the Rocky Mountains, when you have lived your whole life in the flat lands of Louisiana, the mountains are a sight to behold.

I am relatively new to the paper crafting world. I have only been at it for about 3 years. I started creating with paper when my grand daughter was born. I finally found a reason to start using that craft room I had my husband add when we built our retirement home.

The love of paper led me to join the Close to My Heart team as an Independent Consultant. I hope to be able to keep enough business to stay part of the team. It is a great company to be affiliated with.

My name is Maria Letizia but people know me as Letizia. I've been married since 1999 and I have a daughter, Chiara, who is 10 years old. I live in Italy, near the sea, in a little town in the Adriatic coast. I LOVE scrapbooking, it is my HAPPY PLACE. I enjoy making layouts, my first love, home decor items and, of course, cards.

Design Team Call!

It's time once again for a design team call! We are looking for new members for each of our teams - single page layouts, double page layouts and cards.

Our next term will run from January to June 2015 so please do not apply if you cannot commit to this time frame.

What you will do:

• provide one project per month with a possible special event during the six month term
• comment on all submissions as you are assigned
• post our challenge to your blog and other social media outlets 
• have projects completed ahead of time in order to meet the deadline

What you need:

• an active blog
• a facebook account as this is where the DT "meets"
• a love for sketches

What we will do:

• provide the sketches at least one month in advance
• provide your posting schedule and commenting assignments
• be supportive and encouraging
• share your photo and your link on our blog
• share your project on various social media outlets

How to apply:

• send an email to Stick it Down with the subject line "Design Team Call"
• include your name and location
• include a list of current teams (no experience necessary!)
• include 3 of your favourite layouts or cards that best display your style and suit the requirements of the team you are applying for (ie, submit cards if you are applying for the card team)
• introduce yourself in few brief sentences

This call is open to everyone including our current team members and will run from November 1st to November 21st. The new team will be notified by November 28th and announced by December 1st. The new team's projects will be revealed on January 1st.
