July Guest Designer: Jessica

Welcome Jessica as our July double page sketch designer.

I am a stay at home mom to 4 kids, ages 2, 4, 6, and 8.  They definitely keep me busy, but it is so worth it! I can't imagine spending my life doing anything else.  My husband and I have been married for 11 years. 

Besides scrapbooking and card making, I like to work out, volunteer at my kids' school and church, and practice my photography.  I started scrapbooking when I was still in high school. I added in card making a few years later.A few years ago, I changed how I scrap photos for our family album. Each month, I make a 2 page layout recapping our month. Any photos that don't make it onto the layout are put into pocket pages. About a year ago I discovered the awesome two page sketches here at Stick It Down and have been using them ever since!  I am honored to have been chosen as guest designer this month at Stick It Down. Hi, my name is Laura or Vive-laVi as blogger. I live in Milan, Italy, with my hubby (I have been married for 16 years) who support and encourage my scrapbooking addiction. I have been crafting since 2002 when my first nephew was born and I often use my hobby to work with my little students at school (I am teacher at Primary School).

I like colours and Mixed Media, dots and layers of ink/pattern/textures, Tim Holtz and clean and simple style, too. It depends on my feelings and different projects and occasions. My inspiration comes from the big names of scrapbooking, but also from books, trips, friends, good food, things that make me feeling good.
