April guest designer: Donna

Please welcome Donna as this month's double page guest designer.

     Hi! My name is Donna Broussard and I live in Louisiana with my husband Paul of 41 years. We have one son, a lovely daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons. I am a retired elementary teacher and I spend any extra time I have on scrapbooking.

     I have been scrapbooking for 10 years and loving every minute of it. My favorite subjects to scrap are family, friends, and vacations. When I scrap, I especially like to do lots of layering, mixed media, and make my own embellishments.

    For this two page layout, I used a dark vibrant turquoise mist and several stencils for the background on white cardstock. I incorporated Project Life cards, several flowers that I made, and decorated chipboard butterflies. This was a fun layout to do and I would like to thank Stick It Down for having me as a Guest Designer.
