July Double Page Sketch Team

Happy July! Wow can you believe we're already this far into 2023? It's gone by fast! Since it's summer I hope you've been able to enjoy the additional sunshine and that you've found some time to scrapbook on the rainy days! Here's another sketch to get your creative wheels turning!

Sharon

Thanksgiving in July. ha--I took some liberties with this layout.  But

it worked out for all my holiday photos.  I have been having fun going

through "older" papers and embellishments and using up some of my stash.

Bethany

I modified the sketch to incorporate a few more snorkeling photos from our trip to Hanauma Bay (on the island of Oahu). What a wonderful day to enjoy the beach and ocean life!

Antonia:

I tried to stick to the sketch as much as possible this month. I love sketches like this one - there is enough room for multiple photos, embellishment clusters and showcasing the beautiful patterned papers, too!

Maureen O

I also followed this sketch.  It worked perfectly for the pictures I had.  I used the new summer line Photoplay.

July Sketch Reveal

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for a brand new batch of sketches?

First up is our card sketch and a patriotic sample from Monica...

If you’re new here, or just need a refresher, be sure to stop back during the month for more examples from our teams.  On the 3rd we’ll have the double page team’s layouts; on the 10th we’ll showcase the single page team layouts; on the 17th we’ll share the rest of the card team’s creations. On the 15th we'll share our guest designer's project.

June's Cards

Today we are sharing projects from the card team!

Mandi  frames a focal element perfectly using a floral stamp and die cut sentiment. 

Sharon always has the cutest little animals & this card is no exception!

Monica made a cute card to celebrate the 4th of July, using some Doodlebug paper and a Lawn Fawn puffy star die.

June single page team!

It's single page sketch reveal week over here at Stick It Down - our June sketch was created by Brandi:

We all love a multi-photo layout here - and this is how our single page team interpreted this month's sketch:

Jane:

Such a fun sketch this month! I went WAY back into my stash for some vintage Studio Calico and Bella Blvd., along with some JilliBean Soup punch out embellishments.

Brandi:

I decided to use two larger photos for my layout, so I also stretched the background piece to complement. A little misting on the cardstock base & some gold embellishments made for a great wedding photo highlight. 

Bethany:

Here's a few snapshots of my little lady in Hawaii last year! I was inspired to make the rectangle in the background of the sketch a mixed-media focal point and then found that VW bus embellishment in my stash and fell in love with it. I had to use it! Too fun!
