March card team!

Happy Monday! Today we're sharing the cards from the card team!

Who said animal theme papers couldn't be generic prints?! The pattern papers used on Mandi's card were from a pet theme paper collection.

Check on Sherry's BLOG to see how she created this fun, colorful card!

Sharon's little fox is so cute!

Monica made this card using up some pattern paper scraps from her scrap basket that matched a stamp she recently got. Old + new! A win win!

Maureen used used CTMH's Daisy, Daisy paper line and the 'New Kid on the Block' stamp/thin cut to create this adorable card.

You have until the end of the month to play along with any - or all! - of the sketches.  Just add your creation in the linky in our sidebar.  We’ll choose one winner from the entries to guest design for us in May.  You can link up until 11:59PM EST on March 31.

If you share on Instagram, give us a tag (@stickitdown) and we'll share in our stories!

March Guest Designer

Today we get to welcome our March Guest Designer: Jessica Shurts!

Hello, my name is Jessica Shurts. I live in Minnesota with my husband and 5 kids ages 16, 14, 12, 10, and 4 1/2. I started scrapbooking when I was in high school. Between cooking meals and driving my kids to all their activities (lots of soccer and dance), I love using fun papers and products to tell my family's stories and using my Cricut to make unique embellishments and titles for my layouts. I love Stick It Down sketches as a starting point for my layouts and cards. I use the double-page sketches for my month-in-review layouts. This month's sketch was used for April 2022.

You can see more of my work on my blog, Create and Share.

Jessica is one of our avid double-page followers, so it's no surprise that she decided to use the double-page sketch to create her layout!

We would love to have a chance to spotlight your work and become a guest designer! All you have to do is play along with our monthly challenges and upload your layout! We randomly choose winners each month and those winners become our guest designers.

I hope that inspires you to get crafting so we can feature your work next!

March Single Page Team!

 Hello Crafty Friends,

It's single page layout reveal week over here at Stick It Down - this month's sketch was created by our Single Page Girls, Brandi:

Our featured designer of the month Bethany created this awesome layout, documenting some travel memories. She created the diamond background using paperfolding technique - we love her take on the sketch!

Jane scrapbooked an old family photo of her and her mom using this month's sketch. She used the Shine collection from Maggie Holmes and she added some interest to her page by adding buttons to the color swatch paper - we love the vintage feel of her layout!

Brandi created a layered background by adding diecut shapes on top of some stencilling - we love all the geometrical shapes she used on her layout!

We hope you find our layouts inspiring - be sure to join in with our sketch challenge! You have until the end of the month to play along with any - or all! - of our challenges... just create a layout based on one of our sketches and link your entry in our sidebar.  If you share on social media, please use the hashtag #StickItDown.  We’ll choose one winner from the entries and they will be invited to guest design for us in May!

Happy scrapping and Happy Spring Awakenings!

March Double Page Sketch Challenge

We're here to kick off another month by revealing our double-page design team's unique creations!

Lauren Mullarkey started us off with a fun sketch and our team adapted it to fit their needs. Take a peek at what they made and then join us with your own take!

Here I am still scrapbooking Christmas photos in March! Haha! Here's some precious moments from my family's Christmas in 2021. I used Vicki Boutin's Warm Wishes collection to complete it.

I inverted the two pages because of the way my photos worked out. :)  I used several "older" embellishments and some die cuts to complete my layout.

I was super-excited to use the new Simple Vintage Life in Bloom collection from  Simple Stories on this layout, documenting a day out with my family.

This sketch worked perfectly to document these precious Easter memories.  Used Photoplay's Bunnies and Blooms.  Added some Mintay Chippies for added dimension.

What fun layouts! I hope this motivates you to pull out some paper and get scrapping!
