meet the card team...

Alison
My name is Alison and I live in Bend, Oregon right in the center of Oregon. I am married and have one ten year old daughter along with a dog named Wrinkles. I started traditional scrapbooking over ten year ago which branched out into card making, mini albums, and other paper crafts. I work part time as Speech Language Pathologist helping children birth to five years of age. On my days off I keep busy crafting, volunteering at my daughter’s school, gardening, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

Colleen
Hi, Colleen from the beautiful state of Michigan. I am a mother, wife and grandmother to 6 very active kids. I have been scrapping for about 15 years but seriously scrapping for about 6 years. My style is eclectic, and evolving. I love to make cards and make quite a few. I make them for myself, my mother and for my daughter. I loved altering boxes that I fill with my cards and give them as gifts. I also create layouts and love to try to make each one unique while still have the photo be the focal point. I love making flowers and create most of the flowers on my projects.

Jodie

My name is Jodie Mason and I live in Australia. I am a mother of 3 (4 if you include my husband, who can be the biggest kid most of the time). I have always enjoyed crafting since before I can remember, and my love for creating has just grown stronger the older I get. These days I mostly concentrate on papercrafts and multimedia style projects, but nevertheless enjoy any kind of crafts. I am a design team member of Stick It Down blog and Memory Maze (chipboard products), and you can find me over at www.jodiescraftivity.blogspot.com.au.

Emilia

I am a stay at home mom of a wonderful girl (she are three years old  - 5.6). Now she goes to kindergarten, and I have a lot of free time for my favorite hobby. I have a wonderful husband, and he is a great father. Also we have two very fluffy and gentle cat. I love cats. And really love to chat with friends, read books, and of course creating: Scrapbooking, Cards and Mixed media.

My dream is to hold master classes on Scrapbooking, Cards making and Mixed media. In the meantime, I keep myself constantly learn new things and new techniques. I love to mix techniques, styles and try new things. My messy work table is my happy place and i am siting there a lot lately.

I make cards for 9 years. At first I made an album for a friend as a wedding gift but it was not the classic Scrapbooking style. And then I slowly started to read and look at internet master classes, and since then I addicted to Scrapbooking and making cards.

Lately I open a blog: http://exploreinspire.blogspot.co.il - where I'll be sharing my cards and other creations. You are welcome to visit any time.

I’m Evelyn.  Like most of you, I have always been crafty one way or another.  I knit, did counted cross-stitch for a few years, and have made beaded Christmas tree ornaments.  I’ve kept a scrapbook since I was a girl.  It included grainy, out of focus black and white photos taken on school field trips and around my home, locks of hair from when I got it cut, and paint samples from when I painted my bedroom walls (pink and yellow!)  When I discovered scrapbooking, I took that old scrapbook apart and re-made it using all acid-free materials.  My first die cutting machine was the Cricut Expression.  I now have two of them, a Gypsy, a Cameo and a Portrait, and use all of them to make scrapbook layouts, cards, and other paper items as well.  I'm honored and excited to be a member of the Stick it Down card design team and its newest card sketch designer!

My name is Irmelin and I am from Lulea, which is located in northern Sweden. Right now I am studying to be a nurse, with one year remaining of the education. I live with my partner, a 2.5 year old son and two cats. Besides crafting, I like to take photos, music and watch TV series.

Crafting, I have probably done since I was little. But began with layouts around 2006. 2013 I started with cardmaking when I got my Sizziz Big Shot machine. And this year I also started with art journaling and mixed media canvas. I like to work with color and stamps. Distress Ink is a favorite along with embossing powder. Like also to make CAS card and die-cutting.
