I'm a work at home mom of an 11 year old boy , a 8 year old girl and a 6 month old sweet baby boy. Therefore my life is usually filled with learning, new discovery, bribery and sometimes "time outs". I have a loving and very supportive husband of 12 years. When the kids have gone to bed at night, my time is spent crafting while catching up on my favorite shows and movies. I also enjoy reading, window shopping and perusing blogs for inspirations.
Although I’ve been doing some type of scrapbooking since grade school, I only started to scrapbook seriously after my son was born. When he was born I knew I will be staying at home with him but coming from a fast paced sales job I was afraid I would ran out of things to do during the day. Little did I know that with a newborn you won’t have anytime to do anything else. Anyways after going through a basic scrapbooking class I was hooked and haven’t stopped scrapping since. My style has evolved through the years but there's one thing that never changes- my quest to tell the story. That's always the first thing I think of when I want to make a scrapbook page and/or project. And lately I've been inspired by pattern paper and fun, bright colors. I have been blessed to have been published in most major papercrafting magazines and I have worked in the industry as a project designer in the last 7 years. Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Stick It Down. I currently live in Thousand Oaks in sunny southern California with my husband. I am a massage therapist with a private practice. When I'm not working and enjoying SoCal living, I'm dancing hula (traditional Hawaiian dance) and scrapbooking. I've only been paper crafting since 2011 when I bought my Cricut for my birthday. I thought it would be cool to make my own cards, then cards turned into home decor projects, which turned into scrapbooking. I create layouts using many different styles, sometimes I like mixed media elements, something I like to keep things simple. I let the photos and papers direct my process. I LOVE sketches, especially the ones from Stick It Down.

Welcome to March at Stick it Down. Hard to believe we are starting the third month of 2015! I'm not sure what the world looks like where you are, but up here in northern Ontario, Canada, we are hoping to soon see the last of the snow! It has a been winter full of record breaking cold here. I know there is warmth somewhere and it's heading here...soonish...
Marci, Ashley and Laureen are sharing their version of our sketches today and they have done a great job! We hope you have fun with the sketches and we will be back in a few days with our February winners!
