April winners!

I apologize that this is coming so late! Between moving into our new house and traveling out of state for my brother's college graduation, I've had no time at my computer (or to scrapbook!).

We had an amazing 38 entries in April! I think that's the most in the history of SID. If ya'll wouldn't mind, let us know why you joined the challenge this month? Was it something in the sketch you loved? The prize? Did you just have more time?

Having so many entries also makes it that much harder to choose winners! It's a tough job. Without further delay, our April winners are...

Sharon

Charissa

d_e_crafts

and the winner of our prize, sponsored by Spiegelmom Scraps is... CG!

Congratulations to all our winners & thank you to everyone who played along:)

May guest designer... Esther!

 Please welcome Esther!

Hello, I’m Esther, 44 years old.

Together with my son from 13 years old, and my husband I live in Almere, the Netherlands.

I work part time as a financial administrator by an importer for photography supplies.

Beside to my scrapbooking hobby I like to go hiking, geocaching and traveling. Of course these are the perfect combinations with taking pictures to scrap.  With a husband, who is a hobby photographer, I always have the choice of a lot of great pictures for my layouts.

When I scrap I love to work with sketches. Usually I make double page layouts. When I have a sketch for a single page, I combine these often with a layout template. This is a great way to put a lot of photos on a layout.

For more inspiration, be welcome to take a look at my blog essiesscrap.blogspot.com

For this layout I used the Cabin Fever collection from Simple Stories. It’s an older collection, but I love the theme and colors.

The fishing nets I’ve made with a die and cutting machine.

The title is from chipboard letters, these I’ve colored with a marker.
