Since it is Valentine's Day this month, I embraced the hearts in the sketch. I loved this type of card sketch since I was able to use up old scraps - Mandi

Monica switched it up & added a lot of shine for a St. Patty themed card using glitter gel, a stencil, an embossing folder and Perfect Pearls.

We're loving the creative interpretation of Maureen OSullivan's card this month!

February Guest Designer: Alicia O'Bryant

 Today we get to welcome our February Guest Designer: Alicia O'Bryant! 

Hi I am Alicia O'Bryant.  I am so excited to be a guest designer for Stick It Down this month.  I live in Cincinnati, OH. I have been married to my husband for almost 10 years.  I have one grown son and one fur baby.  I have been scrapping since just before my son was born over 20 years ago. The craft has evolved so much since I began.  Like a lot of crafters, I am a hoarder and it gives me such pleasure to use up all that old product mixed with the latest trends.  I also make cards which increases the amount of different techniques I employ in my crafting. Die cutting and paper piecing are favorites.  I am currently learning to master coloring with alcohol markers.  Besides crafting, my husband and I love to travel and go to concerts.  We go on an annual trip to Jamaica to see our favorite band with some of our best friends which I have featured in today's project.  I used all solid cardstock paired with some interesting ephemera including tickets, bingo markers and crinkle ribbon.  I hope it inspires you to scrap your good memories.

February Double Page Sketch Team

  

Welcome to February and a month where we get to focus on all things LOVE! Lauren created this fun Valentine's-themed sketch and then our design team each took a turn putting their creative brains to work! You'll notice each of us actually used the sketch to document something other than Valentine's Day---and that's ok! Do whatever you feel led to scrapbook!

I created a layout for my pregnancy album about setting up my daughter's nursery.  It's pinks and purple florals with some Beatrix Potter Bunnies.  I even handmade her mobile out of felt.

This layout is about my daughter's first birthday! I found that fun cake-cut file and knew it had to be used with these photos! This was such a fun day that I now get to remember forever.

This layout worked great for several photos of my husbands Birthday.  Always fun for family to get together for any occasion.

I combined Autumn and winter collections to create this layout documenting about how pumpkins are stored during the cold winter month in the countryside.
